Mizuno - Make the game
Autumn/Winter 2023 collection
This collection from sports brand Mizuno is designed by Japanese craftsmanship for indoor games. To reconnect with the Japanese heritage and to speak to a younger audience this series was inspired by Manga, the Japanese comics.
Triggered by an unprecedented amount of time spent at home, the Avatar pack is inspired by the acceleration of VR/AR/XR technologies. We created a desolate landscape with a futuristic cyberpunk vibe.
The Pura pack is made for women. The bright white and fresh green color accents communicate natural beauty and freshness. By using floating glass circles we created a lightness and elegance that resembles the shoe.
The Release pack aims to uplift spirits and to stand out from the crowd. As an antidote to the stressful and monotonous start of the decade. By using physical speed lines we referenced the well-known manga drawing effects.
